It all begins when you focus too much of your attention on strange noises. My oldest memories are sound textures I enjoyed as an infant; for example the sound of a stroller rolling through the old wooden floors in Gap stores or the noises I supplied my head with when I brushed my hand across the smooth grey stone sidewalks in Soho. It wasn't until I got my hands on my first Audio Computer Program did I notice that I thought like this and had hundreds of sounds and textures that I saved in my sound cognizance. Yet the computer gave me access to something even better, the ability to create new sound textures that previously did not exist.
